
Ricardo Freire – Partner
Team Criminal Law
Litigation attorney specializing in criminal law, criminal compliance, and corporate criminal liability. Between 2002 and 2012, he served as a Prosecutor with the Chilean Public Prosecutor’s Office. In addition, during 2008 and 2009, he worked as legal advisor to the National Prosecutor.
He was also a member of the coordinating team responsible for the implementation of Chile’s Criminal Procedure Reform in the Metropolitan Region. Furthermore, he participated in the legislative process of criminal procedure laws, representing the Public Prosecutor’s Office before the National Congress.

- Lecturer in the Diploma Program on the New Oral Criminal Procedure System and Advanced Courses in Oral Advocacy, designed for public criminal defenders and federal judges.
- Teaching Assistant in Criminal Procedure Law, University of Chile.
- Speaker at courses and seminars on criminal procedure law in Chile and abroad.
- Legal Counsel to the Chilean Association of Prosecutors, representing assistant prosecutors in criminal proceedings arising from the performance of their official duties.
